The Nitriding and Heat Treatment of Firearms
The AFS Twin Cities Chapter welcomes Vasko Popovski, PE, Director of Sales & Marketing at Advanced Heat Treat Corp., for a virtual presentation on “The Nitriding and Heat Treatment of Firearms” on April 13th at 5:00pm. About the Speaker:
About the Topic: In this semi-technical presentation, we will talk about two pertinent and remarkable topics: metallurgy and guns. Firearms need to perform and operate under often difficult conditions. They can fail in the field due to corrosion, wear, and other causes. Nitriding is one method of preventing such failures. The application of this technology can be extended into other related industries. Register on the Event page (no cost) by Monday, April 12th at 12:00pm. A link to sign on to the online meeting platform will be emailed to the registrants on Monday, April 12th. Click here to view newsletter. |
