Quality Control at the Scrap Processors

| AFS Twin Cities Chapter welcomes David Borsuk, Senior Advisor for Sadoff Iron & Metal, to the monthly meeting on Tuesday, November 20th, 2018 at the Green Mill in Plymouth, Minnesota with the Social beginning at 5:00pm. David’s presentation on “Quality Control at the Scrap Processors” will begin at 6:45pm. In addition, we will recognize this year’s scholarship recipients.
About the Speaker… David Borsuk is currently a Senior Advisor of Sadoff Iron & Metal Company Fond du Lac, WI with a 48-year career in the metals recycling industry, having held management positions in facility management, quality, environmental, legislative and regulatory affairs, and industrial and foundry purchasing and sales. He is a Member of the Board of Directors of the Institute of Scrap Recycling Industries, Chair of ISEC, Chair of the Audit Committee, and Vice-Chair of Safe Operations Committee. David is a Past Wisconsin Chapter President and currently Vice-President of the Wisconsin Chapter of ISRI, member of AFS NE Wisconsin Chapter, and member of AFS 8-G Charge Materials Committee and Safety and Health Committee. About the Topic… “Quality Control at the Scrap Processors” will highlight the steps that a scrap processor should take to ensure that they deliver speci-fication grade charge materials to their consumer. The talk will also touch on steps that a consumer can take to make the scrap charge material supplier successful.
