The AFS Twin Cities Chapter is hosting the first in-person meeting since February 2020 for Educator/Student Night, Tuesday, November 9th, 2021!

About the Speakers:

AFS Student Chapter Officers and members: Alec Kokko-Ludemann (President), Nathan Thompson (Secretary), Eli Knaus (Treasurer), and others.

UW-Stout Professors: Brenda Puck, Greg Slupe and Brian Finder

Brenda, Greg and Brian teach in the College of Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics and Management (CSTEMM) at US-Stout in Menomonie, WI. They have over 40 years of combined experience in industry and education. In addition to their collective passion for research and education in metalcasting, they have a variety of individual interests including Women in STEM, Engineering and Technology Literacy and Risk Control and Safety Management.

About the Topic:

Despite the numerous challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, metal casting at UW-Stout has not only survived, but it is also thriving in exciting new ways.
