  Joe Plunger is a Michigan Technological University Metallurgist by educat
 ion and is in his 40th year in the foundry industry. Joe has worked in bot
 h industrial and automotive plants in several technical and operating capa
 cities. He was with Grede\, Inc.\, Citation\, and Grede Holdings\, he is n
 ow CEO/Owner of Midwest Metal Products\, Inc. (MMP) in Winona\, Minnesota.
 About the Topic... The talk will discuss the journey Midwest Metal Product
 s has taken with the MN Community Solar Garden Initiative\, leading to MMP
  securing enough solar power to fully operate their induction melting faci
 lity - along with all other power needed in this 47-person steel and iron 
 foundry operation. Minnesota appears to have the most aggressive program i
 n this area as far as incentives for large power consumers to participate.
 \n\nAbout MMP... MMP is a Steel and Iron producing foundry in Winona\, Min
 nesota\, fully chemically bonded molding and induction melting. MMP produc
 es parts from a few pounds up to about 1800 pounds. They pour a variety of
  carbon\, low alloy\, and stainless steels\, gray and ductile irons\, and 
 both chrome and nickel wear materials. For their clients\, they offer fini
 shing to any level (machining\, paint\, x-ray\, heat treat). They serve a 
 wide scope of clients: Oil and Gas\, Defense\, Equipment Manufacturing\, T
