 reg is currently the Director of Sales for Quint Systems\, Waterloo\, ON C
 anada. He brings close to 30 years of controls and automation knowledge an
 d has extensive experience managing such capital projects within the Found
 ry environment. He is an Electronic Engineering Technologist by trade and 
 has a long association with American Foundry Society (AFS). His career beg
 an at Dayton Walther in 1985 as a Quality Control Inspector for the Truck 
 Iron Brake Drum Casting facility. In 1989 Greg joined Sutherland Schultz w
 hich later became Brock Solutions and for 22 years provided several contro
 ls and automation system including the development of the Brock Matchplate
  Molding Machine (similar to a Hunter Molding Machine). In 2012\, Greg lef
 t Brock Solutions to start Quint Systems with continued focus on serving t
 he Foundry Industry.\n\nAbout the Topic... “How to Gain Productivity Imp
 rovements with Existing Foundry Equipment”: The many control solutions p
 rovided for Production Equipment in the past have improved the performance
  of manufacturing equipment by Increasing Reliability\, Efficiency and Imp
 roved Product Quality resulting in operational savings and financial perfo
 rmance improvements for our customers. In an ever changing economic enviro
 nment coupled with the demands of customers\, foundries throughout North A
 merica must continually improve operational performance to remain both com
 petitive and viable. Control system upgrades of machines within foundries 
 can provide significant improvements in productivity and reliability at th
