DESCRIPTION:&nbsp\;\n\n\n\nThe AFS Twin Cities Chapter Annual Business Meet
 ing will be Tuesday\, May 10th\, beginning with a social at 5:00pm at the 
 Twin Cities Tavern\, 1330 Industrial Boulevard NE\, Minneapolis\, MN 55413
 . Our guest speaker will be Mike Lenahan from Badger Mining Corporation wh
 o will talk about “AFS Today - Where we are and where we are heading.”
 \n\nAbout the Speaker:\nMike Lenahan joined Badger Mining in 2021 to furt
 her bolster its foundry business and lead its non-foundry industrial busin
 ess development.\nSince 1987\, Mike has been active in the foundry industr
 y. He has held several key leadership and business development positions o
 ver his career including Vice President – Industrial Sales at Covia\, an
 d most recently\, CEO and co-owner of KB Foundry Services\, where he conti
 nues to serve as a board member and adviser.\n\nMike is the Immediate Past
  President of the American Foundry Society\, where he is served an atypica
 l two-year term.  Mike is a member and past chair for both the AFS EHS Di
 vision and Government Affairs Committees.  He has been a chapter presiden
 t for two AFS Chapters over the course of his career.  Mike is past presi
 dent of the Foundry Association of Michigan and current member of the Ohio
  Cast Metals Board of Directors.\n\nMike holds an undergraduate degree in 
 Applied Science from Bowling Green State University and a MBA from the Uni
 versity of Notre Dame. In his spare time he loves to fish and shoot sporti
 ng clays.  He also is an avid collector of bourbon. He and his wife Pam h
 ave two daughters\, one son-in-law\, and one trying to work his way into t
 he family.  They also have a very spoiled Rottweiler named Annabelle.\n\n
 About the Topic:\n\nMike will provide an update on the state of AFS and wh
 at lies ahead for the industry as we continue to emerge from the pandemic.
  He will also share his thoughts on how to navigate  turbulent situations
  through clarity of mission\, transparency\, and teamwork. All are encoura
 ged to attend\, including students with an interest in the metal casting i
