 rocess Ventilation \n\nOn May 13\, 2026\, AFS TC Chapter held an interacti
 ve Advanced Air Seminar by Greg Kramer covering Foundry Process Ventilatio
 n. Using an air blower and simulated ductwork system\, Greg demonstrated h
 ow changes to an air handling system can either improve or adversely impac
 t the effectiveness of a dust collection system.\n\nThe seminar covered ve
 ntilation design guidelines and showed how incorrectly balanced systems co
 uld cause loss of valuable raw materials and risk of premature wear on duc
 twork.  The seminar was held in-person at United Surface Preparation in A
 noka\, Minnesota and presented virtually via TEAMS.\n\nGreg Kramer is a li
 censed professional engineer with 18 years of experience in the Foundry in
 dustry.  His technical expertise includes foundry processes and equipment
 \, industrial ventilation design and troubleshooting\, environmental healt
 h and safety compliance\, and best practices.  Greg works as the regional
  industrial sales director for Badger Mining Company.\n\n\n\n[gallery size
