Grede’s Recent Educational Outreach

On September 28, Grede St. Cloud provided an informative plant tour at its site to 45 students attending electrician classes at the St. Cloud Technical and Community College (SCTCC). The purpose of the tour was to show these students a real-life example of a high-power industrial electrical installation in a manufacturing setting.

On October 27, Grede St. Cloud participated in the annual EPIC STUDENT EVENT at SCTCC demonstrating a Foundry-in-a-Box. Thousands of central MN high schoolers attend this event, getting hands-on career exploration with interactive experiences simulating career activities that the students may pursue through educational paths. Grede offers several career development opportunities for recent graduates, military personnel, and student co-ops through university programs.
